Listings and submission
People add their own businesses without you touching wp-admin
Define any kind of listing with its own fields, then let owners submit through a multi-step wizard with media, hours and a draggable map pin. Duplicate checking and draft reminders keep the queue clean.

Search and discovery
Visitors find the right listing instead of giving up
Faceted search with geo radius, full-text and a search-this-area map, built on a dedicated index table rather than meta queries, so it stays quick as the directory grows. Pro adds saved searches with alerts and infinite scroll.

Reviews and trust
Reviews live on your domain, and owners can answer them
Ratings with helpful votes and owner replies, plus a claim flow so a business can prove it owns its listing and take it over. Pro adds multi-criteria scoring, photo reviews and verification badges.

Monetization
Charge for listings without building a payment stack
Vendors buy credits and spend them on pricing plans. Hold-and-Commit reserves credits and only deducts them once the listing is actually live, so a failed activation never leaves a partial charge.

Moderation and spam
An open submission form that does not fill up with junk
Six layers stand between a spammer and your directory: captcha, rate limiting, honeypot, keyword blacklist, URL density and Akismet. Everything queued is reviewable, and Pro adds moderators and an audit trail.

Notifications and email
The right people hear about it, and you can prove it sent
Templated emails for every event, a contact form on each listing, and a log of what was actually delivered, so a "nobody got the email" report is answerable rather than a guess.

Integrations and white label
It fits your site and your brand, not the other way round
Native Gutenberg blocks, a member dashboard, BuddyPress community sync, outgoing webhooks for your own stack, and white label so a client never sees the word Listora.

Migration
Bring an existing directory over instead of starting again
Importers for the five directory products people most often move off, plus CSV, JSON and GeoJSON. All of it is in the free plugin, so you can test the migration before paying anything.
Each link goes to the documentation for that feature, not a sales page. This hub covers 43 of them. Browse all 81 docs.
What Listora is not
It is a directory, and it is opinionated about that. It is not a booking engine with live availability, so pair it with a dedicated booking plugin if you need calendars. It is not a CRM: lead capture writes to your database and emails the owner, but managing that pipeline belongs elsewhere. And it is not a payment gateway - it consumes the payment plugin you already run. The full line between free and Pro, including what Pro cannot do yet.
