How does the Hold-and-Commit credit system work?

When a vendor selects a plan, credits are HELD (reserved but not deducted). When the listing goes live, credits are COMMITTED. If activation fails (validation error, race condition, expired coupon), the hold cancels and credits return. No partial charges, no manual refunds, no 3am support tickets about missing credits.

Will it scale past 10,000 listings?

Yes. The search index is a dedicated denormalized table, not a meta_query. Geo queries use Haversine against a separate listora_geo table. Action Scheduler handles all background jobs - expiration, email sends, reindex - so WP-Cron drops do not corrupt state. Designed and tested for six-figure listing counts.
