In this tutorial you will create a new listing type in WB Listora, for a kind of place the built-in types do not cover. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Add New Type. Name it. Choose its look. Add fields and sort it. Then keep it as a draft. Step one. Open Add New Type. Go to Listora, then Listing Types, and click Add New Type. A blank editor opens. Fields go on the left, and the settings of the type go on the right. Step two. Name it. Type a name in the Name box, such as Pet Services. The slug fills in by itself. It is the short name in addresses and in the code. Check it now. A slug cannot be changed after the type is created. Step three. Choose its look. Icon picks the symbol that shows beside the type. Color tints it. It shows on the type cards and the map. The Schema type box tells search engines what kind of page a listing is, such as a local business. Step four. Add fields and sort it. Add Field Group starts a box for the fields of the type. Name it, click Add Group, then add its fields with Add Field, and arrange them as in the earlier tutorial. Categories lists the categories this type can use. Tick the ones that fit. Features and Amenities works the same way. Leave it empty, and every feature is offered. Step five. Keep it as a draft. A new type starts as a draft, so members cannot see it yet. Click Save Type, at the top right. The type is saved, its editor opens, and it joins the list. When it is ready, set its Status to Active. That is all five.
