How to Search and Filter the Directory in WB Listora

How to search and filter a WB Listora directory, step by step: open the Directory page, search by keyword or place, pick a listing type, narrow the list with Filters (Category, Minimum Rating, Features) and Apply Filters, then sort the results and switch between grid and list.

In this tutorial you will search and filter a WB Listora directory, the way your visitors do. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the directory. Search by keyword. Pick a listing type. Narrow it with Filters. Then sort and change the view. Step one. Open the directory. The Directory page lists every published listing, with a search bar at the top and a map. Below the map, a line says how many listings match, and the cards follow. Step two. Search by keyword. Click Search listings, and type what you want, such as tacos. Then click Search, or press Enter. The list shows the listings that match. The box beside it takes a place name, to search a city or a neighbourhood. Step three. Pick a listing type. The row of buttons under the search bar holds every type that has listings. Click one, such as Restaurant, and only restaurants are listed. Step four. Narrow it with Filters. Click Filters. The panel holds Category, Minimum Rating and Features, the amenities a place offers. Pick a category, such as Fine Dining. Then click Apply Filters. The list reloads, and the Filters button shows how many are on. To start again, open Filters and click Clear All Filters. Step five. Sort and change the view. The list beside the result line sets the order. Featured listings come first. Pick another order, such as Newest, Highest Rated or Most Reviewed. Here it is Newest, and the list reloads in that order. The two buttons beside it switch between a grid of cards and a list. That is all five. Open the directory, search by keyword, pick a listing type, narrow it with Filters, and sort and change the view. Your visitors can now find what they want in your directory.
