In this tutorial you will use the map in a WB Listora directory to find listings near you. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Move around the map. Open a pin. Click Near Me. See the nearest listings. Then change the distance. Step one. Move around the map. The Directory page shows every listing as a pin on the map. A circle with a number holds several listings close together. Click the plus button, or scroll, to zoom in and split them. Step two. Open a pin. Click a single pin on the map. A small card opens with the name and the type, and the photo and the rating when the listing has them. View Details opens the listing. Step three. Click Near Me. It sits at the top right of the map. The arrow button in the Location box does the same. Your browser asks if the site may use your location. Once you allow it, the directory reloads around where you are. Near Me needs a secure site, one with https. If the visitor says no, a short message asks them to use the location search instead. Step four. See the nearest listings. Here is a sample position. With your location shared, the map and the list show the places around you, sorted by Nearest. Each card says how far away the place is, so you can see at a glance what is closest. Step five. Change the distance. Next to the search bar, Near me, within sets how far to look, from one to fifty kilometres. Pick a shorter distance, and the list keeps only the closest places. As the site owner, you set the first distance, and kilometres or miles, in the Listora settings, under General. That is all five. Move around the map, open a pin, click Near Me, see the nearest listings, and change the distance. Your visitors can now find the listings closest to them.
