How to use Quick view and compare listings side by side in WB Listora Pro, step by step: open Quick view on a directory card to preview a listing, go on to the full listing, pick two to four listings with Compare, open Compare Now to line them up on the Compare Listings page, and add a listing from its own page with Add to Compare. Quick View and Listing Comparison are Pro features, on by default; the compare buttons show once a Compare Listings page exists.
In this tutorial you will preview listings with Quick view, and compare them side by side, in WB Listora. You need WB Listora Pro, installed and active, with a Compare Listings page. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Quick view. Go to the full listing. Pick listings to compare. Compare them side by side. Then add from a listing page. Step one. Open Quick view. With WB Listora Pro, each card in the directory gets two more buttons, Quick view and Compare. Click Quick view. A box opens with the photos, the rating, a short description and the contact details, without leaving the page. Step two. Go to the full listing. In Quick view, View Full Details opens the listing page, and Directions opens the route on a map. Close the box with the cross, or the Escape key, and you are back where you were. Step three. Pick listings to compare. Click Compare on a card. A bar appears at the foot of the page, asking you to pick one more. Pick a second, and up to four. The bar shows each one. Clear empties the list. Compare Now opens the comparison. Step four. Compare them side by side. The Compare Listings page puts the listings in columns, with their names and ratings at the top. Each row lines up one detail, such as the cuisine, the price range, delivery and the features, so the differences stand out. The cross on a column removes that listing, and Clear All starts again. Step five. Add from a listing page. On a listing, click Add to Compare, beside Report. It turns to In Compare, and the bar appears, ready for the next pick. That is all five. Open Quick view, go to the full listing, pick listings to compare, compare them side by side, and add from a listing page. Your visitors can now preview and compare listings before they choose.
