In this tutorial you will run a Post a Need marketplace in WB Listora. Members ask for what they want, and local businesses send quotes. You need WB Listora Pro, installed and active. It takes about five minutes. There are six steps. Open Needs. Review a request. Set the rules. Browse the needs. Post a need. Then respond to a need. Step one. Open Needs. In your WordPress admin, go to Listora, then Moderation. Needs is a tab in Moderation, after Reviews and Claims. The cards sum up the requests: waiting for review, open for quotes, closed, quotes sent, and quotes accepted. Step two. Review a request. A new request waits in Awaiting review. The row shows the title, the type, the place, the budget and who posted it. Details opens the request. Approve sends it to matching businesses. Reject turns it down. Nothing is changed in this video. Step three. Set the rules. In Listora, then Settings, then Credits, open the Needs tab. Credits per response is what a business pays to send a quote. Active needs per buyer caps how many open requests one member can have. Zero means no cap. Requests without a deadline expire after a number of days. Match vendors within sets how far from the request a business can be to get it. Then click Save Changes. Step four. Browse the needs. Now as a visitor. Browse Needs lists the open requests. A search box and filters narrow them by type and urgency. Each card shows the place, the budget, and the deadline. Post a Need, at the top, is where a member starts a request. Step five. Post a need. A member fills in a short form. A title, a description, and the kind of business they need are required. They can add a location, a budget range, a deadline and how urgent it is. Then they click Submit Need, and it waits for your review. Step six. Respond to a need. Once a request is approved, businesses with a matching listing can open it and respond with a quote. This business has already sent a quote. It shows that the quote is waiting for the buyer. That is all six. Open Needs, review a request, set the rules, browse the needs, post a need, and respond to a need. You can now run a marketplace where members ask and businesses answer. Next in this series: Send listing events to other apps with webhooks.
