In this tutorial you will keep your WB Listora directory in good shape. You will rebuild the search index, manage demo data, and find the tools for data requests. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about four minutes. There are five steps. Open Advanced. Rebuild the search index. Manage demo data. Answer data requests. Then read the health check. Step one. Open Advanced. Go to Listora, then Settings, and click Advanced. Maintenance holds the rebuild and demo tools. Data Management holds the uninstall switch and the privacy tools. Health Check sits at the bottom. Step two. Rebuild the search index. Under Maintenance, Search index has a Rebuild Search Index button. It rebuilds the table that powers search. Run it after you bulk-edit listings, or change custom fields. It starts as soon as you click, so we only point at it here. Step three. Manage demo data. Re-run Demo Import queues a background import of demo listings, for every listing type. If demo data already exists, it asks you to confirm before it goes ahead. Delete Demo Data removes the demo listings and their images from the setup wizard. Your own listings are never touched. Once you click it, they are gone for good. We will not click either button here. Step four. Answer data requests. Under Data Management, the Uninstall box stays unticked. Ticked, uninstalling would delete all Listora data. Privacy has two buttons, Export Personal Data and Erase Personal Data. They open the WordPress privacy tools. Export Personal Data opens this screen. You enter a username or email address, and WordPress sends that person a confirmation email. Listora is already registered with these tools. A request covers the person's listings, reviews, favorites, claims and contact messages. Once they confirm, you download the file. Erase Personal Data opens the matching screen, and works the same way, to remove that data instead. Step five. Read the health check. At the bottom, Health Check runs live checks each time the page loads, and counts how many pass. The cards cover your database tables, scheduled tasks, search index, essential pages, permalinks, PHP version and memory. If the search index is empty or incomplete, its card says so, and offers Rebuild Search Index. That is all five. Open Advanced, rebuild the search index, manage demo data, answer data requests, and read the health check. Your search stays accurate, and you know where to answer a data request.
