In this tutorial you will show a Browse Categories page in WB Listora, and choose what its tiles show. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the page. Find the block. Choose what it shows. See it as a visitor. Then open all categories. Step one. Open the page. In your WordPress admin, go to Pages. Browse Categories is a page Listora offers to make during setup. Click its title to open it in the editor. Step two. Find the block. The page holds one block, Listing Categories. Select it, and its settings open on the right. You can put the same block on any page, such as your home page, from the Block Inserter. Step three. Choose what it shows. Listing Type shows every type's categories, or one type's only. Columns sets how many tiles sit in a row. Limit is how many show before the View all button. Under Display, Show Count and Show Icon switch the count and the icon on each tile. Hide Empty leaves out categories with no listings. If you change anything, click Save, at the top right. Step four. See it as a visitor. The busiest categories come first. Each tile shows its icon, its listing type and its number of listings. Click a tile, and the visitor lands on that category's page, with its listings. Step five. Open all categories. Under the grid, View all opens every category, grouped by listing type. Show fewer folds the list back to the grid. That is all five. Open the page, find the block, choose what it shows, see it as a visitor, and open all categories. Visitors can now browse your directory by category. Next in this series: Add a listing from the front end.
