In this tutorial you will build your locations in WB Listora, from a country down to a city and its neighbourhoods. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Locations. Read the tree. Add a place. Place it under a parent. Then see it on your site. Step one. Open Locations. In your WordPress admin, go to Listora, then Categories, and click the Locations tab. Locations work like a tree. A country holds its states, a state holds its cities, and you can go as deep as you need. Step two. Read the tree. Here United States is at the top, and New York sits under it. Each dash before a name is one level deeper. Brooklyn and the other neighbourhoods sit under New York. Count is how many listings are filed in that place. Step three. Add a place. Under Add New Location, type its name, such as Staten Island. Leave Slug empty, and it is made from the name, for the web address. Step four. Place it under a parent. With the name typed, choose New York in Parent Location. A place with no parent, set to None, sits at the top of the tree, as a country does. Then click Add New Location to keep it. Step five. See it on your site. Every place has its own page. This is New York. It lists the listings in New York, and in every place under it. That is all five. Open Locations, read the tree, add a place, place it under a parent, and see it on your site. Your listings now sit in a tree of places.
