In this tutorial you will find your way around the WB Listora admin, so you know where everything lives before you build your directory. You need the free WB Listora plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are six steps. Open the Listora menu. Read the Dashboard. Find your listings. Find types and categories. Find moderation. Then find the settings. Step one. Open the Listora menu. In your WordPress admin, click Listora. It opens on the Dashboard. The menu lists Dashboard, Listings, Listing Types, Categories, Moderation, Tools and Settings. Monetization and Analytics, in the same menu, come with WB Listora Pro, which is active on this site. Step two. Read the Dashboard. Four numbers sit at the top. Needs attention, Published listings, Reviews and Members. Each number opens the list it counts. Last 30 days, below them, starts with new listings, new reviews and new members. Needs attention lists what is waiting for you, such as listings to approve and ownership claims to decide. Open takes you there. Recent activity, beside it, shows the latest listings and reviews as they come in. Step three. Find your listings. Click Listings. Every listing is here, with its type, its location, its rating and its author. Two tabs sit at the top. All Listings, and Leads, the messages visitors send to listing owners. Add New Listing opens the editor for a new listing. Step four. Find types and categories. Listing Types holds the kinds of listing you offer, such as Restaurant, Hotel and Business, and the fields each one asks for. Badges, the tab beside it, comes with Pro. Click Categories. It has five tabs. Categories, Locations, Features, Tags and Service Categories. Step five. Find moderation. Click Moderation. It opens on Reviews, where the Pending view holds the reviews waiting for you. Claims, the next tab, holds the requests from people who say they own a listing. Needs and Moderators, beside it, come with WB Listora Pro. Step six. Find the settings. Click Settings. Its sections run down the left, in groups such as Directory, Communication and Advanced. Each section ends with a Save Changes button, at the foot of the page. Tools, above Settings in the menu, holds the Email Log, a record of every email Listora sends. That is all six.
